Ending An Argument Without Allowing It To Carry Over
Manifest What you Want, Whenever you Want....There are not many people who especially “enjoy” getting in an argument, but even though you might not especially want to get in an argument, the simple fact is that arguments are sometimes unavoidable; of course, understanding how to resolve an argument when it arises is a valuable tool to have in your arsenal, but just as valuable as this (and something people think of far less often) is knowing how to move on from the argument itself without allowing it to carry over into the rest of your day. When it comes to being able to move on from an argument, the first step is being able to make amends with the person with whom you were arguing; sometimes, this can be easier than other times, but regardless of how the argument ends or who you feel was “right,” making amends with the other person will go a long way in putting the argument completely to rest. Also, after the argument has ended, you should do your best to put the argument completely out of mind; this is often easier said than done, but when you make a conscious effort to put the argument out of mind, you will soon be able to move on from it completely without allowing it to carry over into the rest of your day. And finally, the biggest key of all when it comes to trying to move on from an argument just might be that you learn how to point yourself in the opposite direction, and the best way to do this is to go out and do something “fun" after the argument has ended; you will be able to point yourself in the opposite direction when you do this, removing yourself as far from the argument as possible! As much as you may want to avoid arguments, realize that they are inevitable; but when you follow these tips and tricks, you will have a much easier time moving on from these arguments when they occur, without allowing them to carry over into and ruin the rest of your day!
